To raise awareness of homelessness and establish a mobile text-to-give program we did something that couldn't be ignored: we put a homeless man on a billboard. With only one donated billboard, the campaign spawned over 300 news stores in 32 markets garnering almost 13 million impressions. The campaign raised $12,000 in 48 hours and donations increased more the $606 year over year, a 33% increase, exceeding the campaign's 5% goal.
